About Glowtarz House of Vogue

Fashion is more than just cloth at Glowtarz House of Vogue; it's a gracefully woven cultural history.

Glowtarz was established in the center of Nigeria's Akwa Ibom State with the goal of enhancing local fashion customs by fusing them with the refinement of international luxury. For today's self-assured, fashionable, and strong lady, we specialize in creating excellent women's clothing that captures the royalty, rhythm, and richness of Akwa Ibom's colorful past.

Every Glowtarz item is a celebration of individuality, combining rare textiles, modern silhouettes, and ancestral motifs. In order to create runway-ready outfits that express African stories in languages that are approachable to people across the world, we collaborate with local artisans and weavers to combine carefully chosen Nsobo prints, raffia accents, and embroidered motifs with innovative designs.

The goals of Glowtarz House of Vogue are:

- Fair employment for women craftsmen in rural and urban areas

- restoring South-South Nigerian traditional methods that have been lost

- Introducing Akwa Ibom's fashion voice to international audiences through fashion exhibitions and cultural events

Our goal is to establish Akwa Ibom as a hub for luxury fashion, and stylists, fashion photographers, and diaspora groups in the UK, USA, and abroad have taken notice of our designs.

Glowtarz is a movement more than just a fashion label. Pride is rekindled.

African-made couture that empowers, inspires, and reimagines luxury from the homeland is being called to the world stage.

Glowtarz House of Vogue: "A Blend of High Fashion and Tradition."

Hello

Founder’s Personal Statement

GLORY UDUAK PETERS – Creative Director & Founder, Glowtarz House of Vogue

My name is Glory Uduak Peters a Nigerian fashion designer, creative entrepreneur, and cultural storyteller, and I am the founder of Glowtarz House of Vogue a luxury fashion brand born in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, with a global voice and a heritage driven heart.
Glowtarz was birthed out of a desire to do more than clothe women.

I wanted to reawaken identity, reclaim elegance, and redefine luxury through the African lens. Growing up in a culturally rich community where traditional attire symbolized pride and purpose, I was deeply inspired by the artistry of our people, the woven textures, the ceremonial layers, the way fashion could communicate both history and royalty.

I envisioned a brand that could bring all of that beauty to the global stage.
As a creative, I specialize in designing bespoke female outfits that fuse traditional Akwa Ibom aesthetics with modern, international outlines. Every Glowtarz piece tells a story, from hand-dyed fabrics to locally sourced embellishments and serves as both fashion and cultural expression. My work celebrates women who want to stand out with purpose, women who wear their values, heritage, and confidence.

Beyond design, I am passionate about women’s empowerment and sustainable culture preservation. Glowtarz House of Vogue actively mentors and employs women in local communities, teaching them traditional embroidery, handwork, and tailoring techniques. In this way, the brand is both economically empowering and culturally restorative.
My vision is to see Glowtarz House of Vogue become one of Africa’s most respected fashion exports, representing Nigeria’s creative excellence, honoring our indigenous stories, and inspiring the next generation of global designers.
